Harpsichord

Enrolled piano students have the opportunity to take harpsichord lessons as secondary study. The course is offered at the undergraduate (MUS 11K3) and graduate (MUS 51K3) levels. Students enrolled in harpsichord study period-appropriate literature and learn to apply the physical techniques and stylistic elements particular to the instrument.

A modern replica of a French double manual with three choirs (8’-8’-4’) is available for lessons and for practice.
