Darren Roos

Darren Roos joined Baylor as a Piano Technician in 2014. He leads the management of the School of Music's large inventory of pianos and other keyboard instruments. This includes regulating the tuning, tone, and touch of the instruments, along with repairs, moving, records management, and more. He has a music degree from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO. He trained, originally, at the Steinway Piano Gallery in St. Louis, MO, and became a Registered Piano Technician with the Piano Technicians Guild in 2002. After being self-employed for many years in the Springfield/Branson, MO area, he joined Baylor in 2014. 

Darren is also an accomplished songwriter and an active musician, playing many instruments including guitar, trombone, and others.
