Melinda Coats

Melinda Coats is a graduate of Baylor University, where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She is the Administrative Associate to the offices of Academic and Graduate Studies, where she is actively involved in the planning of conferences and lectures sponsored by the Center for Christian Music Studies. Prior to her position with the School of Music, Ms. Coats taught Kindergarten, second, and sixth grades for seventeen years in Texas and Alaska. A native Wacoan, she is also a third generation employee of Baylor University.

She corresponds with prospective graduate students, keeps files up to date on graduate students and processes assistantships. Her Church Music duties consist mostly of being event coordinator for the Alleluia! Many Voices, One Song annual conference in July in the McCrary Music Building on the Baylor campus.
