Jenny LaPoint
Marketing and Communication Manager
Jenny LaPoint is the Marketing and Communications Manager for the School of Music. In her role, she acts as liaison between the School and Baylor University Marketing and Communications to create marketing materials that will help with recruitment and branding. Jenny also writes the quarterly e-newsletter and is the editor of the School of Music magazine. Her career has spanned over six states in various business settings including television and radio, newspaper, nonprofit, Fortune 500 companies, and advertising firms. Jenny holds the Bachelor of Arts in English and Journalism from the University of Iowa. Her continuing education has included specialized corporate training at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, and project management and corporate writing classes associated with her work at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in Wisconsin.
