Zach Gamez

Zachary Gamez joined the School of Music in 2022 as Facilities Manger and Technical Director to support the continued evolution of the school's educational and performance facilities. This work includes overseeing the care and maintenance of the multiple music facilities across campus and technical production for concerts and events in the performance halls. This follows ten years in Dallas, TX with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas' facilities and audiovisual groups, where Zach supported a multi-year presentation technology modernization effort and the renovation of the Bank's conference center and other business areas.

A native of Waco, Zach first worked with the School of Music as a student while completing a BA in Film & Digital Media at Baylor. While working with the Dallas Fed, Zach had the opportunity to earn a MA in Communications from Dallas Baptist University, with an emphasis on organizational communication and relations. He has also spent many years with the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA), serving on the organization's Young Professionals and Technology Managers Councils, and is a holder of AVIXA's Certified Technology Specialist credential.
