Lecturer of Collaborative Piano (Instrumental)

Byunghee Yoo, Lecturer in Collaborative Piano (Instrumental) has performed throughout the United States, South Korea, China, and Italy including appearances at Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Merkin Hall, Sheldon Hall, and Seoul Arts Center. She has worked extensively in recitals and masterclasses with renowned musicians, including Yo-Yo Ma, Pamela Frank, Kyunghwa Chung, Leon Fleisher, Warren Jones, Jake Heggie, and Robert Beaser. Yoo has been invited several times to perform with the concertmaster of the St. Louis Symphony, David Halen, as well as play for the St. Louis Symphony violin and viola orchestral auditions. Prior to her appointment at Baylor Dr. Yoo served as a collaborative pianist at Virginia Tech University. Her degrees in collaborative piano are from The Juilliard School (BM/MM) and The University of Texas at Austin (DMA).
