Program Highlights

  • Individualized studio instruction with nationally and internationally recognized faculty, within a diverse, collaborative, and supportive community, leading to undergraduate and graduate degrees in Performance, Music Education, and Church Music.
  • Baylor’s VocalOSO program gives students free access to vocal health evaluations, counsel, and therapy if needed.
  • National and international performance opportunities in 2025-26 include the National Opera Association (NOA) opera scenes competition in Boston, and Baylor choirs performing at Carnegie Hall and on tour in the Baltics.

  • I was a pianist and conductor on the musical teams of the Vienna State Opera, the Houston Grand Opera, the Metropolitan Opera, and the San Francisco Opera.
  • I perform in collaboration with singers on some of the world’s greatest recital stages: Wigmore Hall, the Kennedy Center, Tokyo’s National Theater, and more.

  • I specialize in art song repertoire, as well as in the solo & chamber works of Franz Schubert and Lili Boulanger.
  • I frequently perform premieres and new works; my recent recordings of chamber works by Gabriel Vicéns can be found on the Stradivarius label.
